I'm back to the turtle land. Had a terrible day yesterday and today as well. Yesterday, I missed my 8pm flight and had to fly back today at 7am. It was so so so tiring... :( And the worst part of all is, just when I had the best intention in the world to attend to the BST today... (I rushed home to get ready for my BST as soon as the plane touched down) I got a very angry phonecall from a very irate lecturer. Let's name her Dr. D. Oh God, Dr. D was crazy on the line. She was yelling at me through the phone asking me why don't I pick up her phonecalls. I can't. I was driving! Anyways, as I was trying to explain myself through, she rebut me and sounded as if I'm at fault... and the next thing you know, before I could finish my sentences, she just hang up the call. HANG UP! BLOODY HELL...! And I was taken aback. Why was she so rude? And then, I tried calling her but she wouldn't accept my call. In the end, I had to apologize for my supposedly mistake and asked for her forgiveness. Honestly, I felt like a low-life loser for a moment because I had to bow down to this bitch. She told me with a senyum kambing... "It's okay, I forgive you. You have been a good girl." And I thought, "What? Good girl??? @.@ What kind of weird description is that? I certainly am not expecting that to come out from her." Anyways, whatever. I better not say a word. In case I fuel her fire again. And when the BST was over, I apologized to her once again and ask her not to be angry at me anymore and she said "It's okay. I had my revenge on you anyways, by not picking up your phonecalls." WOW. She even had the cheek to say that. I wonder what kind of person is she? Weird, eccentric, and very..demanding. From all the stories I've heard from seniors and friends, I've decided not to get into her blacklist.... 'cause I wanna have an enjoyable Paedatrics posting. I can't imagine working under her with her hating me,, finding faults in me and trying to bring me down. Yikes. Call me a bootlicker. But I'm saving my own ass. She's like a fire that I can't play with... @.@ But seriously... if I ain't her student, I would have sent her another message saying "Didn't know a physician could be so demanding and rude. Don't you know you shouldn't be taking phonecalls when you're driving? And hanging up on someone is so unacceptable. You should stop practicing medicine and practice more on your EQ instead.
